The Elders are coming to bring order to the chaos! Here you will find all the relevant details regarding Elder Apez utility and the minting process.

The Elders: An Overview

The Elder Council launch is imminent, and they will form the most exclusive collection in the Dysto Apez family. The Elder Apez will be extremely valuable in terms of utility, as discussed in the next section of this page. They will also grant the prestige of ownership, signifying our most loyal and dedicated holders.

Utility

There are numerous perks of ownership for the Elder Apez collection, including:

• 500 SCRAP daily reward per Elder

• Exclusive alpha channel in Discord, specifically for Elder Council members

• Mint pass for all future projects in the Dysto family

• Exclusive discounts to real-world brands

• Elders-only merch drops

As our project continues to grow, you can expect the benefits of ownership to expand as well. The Elder Apez will be the most valuable asset within the Dysto Apez ecosystem. If you believe in the vision and direction of our team, Elder ownership will provide your most valuable resource as we move forward and continue to execute our future plans for the project.

Factions

Each Elder Ape will belong to one of four factions: Ryujin, Sentinel, All-Seer, and Architect. There will be an equal amount of Apez spread across each faction. These factions will play a key role in our upcoming missions and in any future games we develop within the project.

Ryujin

The Ryujin reign from the high-rises in the centre of Dysto City to the underground Black Market network. They utilize their wealth to obtain, control, and distribute the most developed tech and weaponry to ensure their grip over criminal activity within the city.

Sentinel

Sentinel gorillas enforce law and order inside the city whilst commanding the Dysto Apez army. They are ruthless and known for their pure brute strength and bravery in battle. Without them, the city would fall into chaos and despair.

All-Seer

The ancient order of the All-Seers is shrouded in mystery. They are rumored to have the gift of prophecy and other mystical powers. The All-Seers have contacts in every corner of the city. They are constantly working behind the scenes, serving their own hidden agenda.

Architect

The Architects maintain complete control of Dysto City’s industrial district. They manufacture weapons, robots, and other tech. These genius inventors are iron-fisted when it comes to business. They are loyal to no one, and always sell to the highest bidder.

Minting Process

The process for reserving and minting your Elder will include an innovative combination of staking and SCRAP token burning. Please note that you will need to stake five Dysto Apez per Elder to be eligible for this mint.

Whitelist Mint

The whitelist process for The Elder Council is very unique, as only those who have been hand-selected by our team will be invited to join The Elder Council (whitelist). These individuals include prominent project owners and NFT influencers who have shown support for our project throughout the months since our Genesis collection launch. Also included are OG supporters of the project, and those who have actively provided benefit to our community.

Public Mint

A small supply of Elders will also be available for a public mint after the whitelist mint. The amount will depend on how many Elders are minted during the whitelist stage; however we do anticipate the final number available for the public mint to be extremely limited.

Minting Process - Phase I: Whitelist Reserve

All whitelisted members will be able to reserve two Elder Apez for mint, either both at once or one at a time. You will need to stake five Dysto Apez for each elder you plan to mint (e.g. stake five Apez to mint one Elder/stake ten Apez to mint two Elders). The whitelist mint price will be xx Eth per Elder. Once these requirements have been met, the Elder Apez are reserved for mint and can be claimed in Phase IV

Minting Process - Phase II: Public Reserve

Any leftover supply from the whitelist phase will automatically be moved to this phase. During the public sale you will be able to reserve ONE Ape to be claimed during Phase IV. If you already minted in the whitelist sale, you will not be able to mint again during the public sale. This is to distribute supply as much as possible, as the collection size is very low. Anyone wishing to mint during the public phase must stake five Apez as outlined above. The public mint price will be xx Eth. After meeting these requirements, you will be able to claim your Elder during Phase IV.

Minting Process - Phase III: SCRAP Burning

The SCRAP burning phase will introduce an innovative rarity mechanic. Everyone may power up their reserved Elder Apez by burning Scrap. The amount of SCRAP you choose to burn will directly impact the rarity of your Ape within the collection. Scrap will be burned on a per NFT basis. This means that burning Scrap only increases the rarity of a single Elder Ape of your choice, not all of the Elder Apez that you have reserved. There will be a live leaderboard keeping track of all the Elder Apez scores, so everyone will know exactly where they stand. Whitelisted addresses get a 4x multiplier on how much Scrap they burn (e.g burning 10 Scrap increases score by 40 for whitelist, but will only increase score by 10 for Apez reserved during the public sale). So start loading up that SCRAP, you're gonna need it!

Minting Process - Phase IV: Claiming your Elder

Once everyone has powered up their Elder Apez during Phase III, Phase IV will begin. Everyone that reserved an Elder Ape will now be able to mint the actual NFT. Rarities will be known beforehand, but the NFT itself will not be revealed until it is claimed.

Staking, Un-staking, & SCRAP Rewards

All staked Dysto Apez will be locked for sixty days, you will not be able to un-stake them until this time period ends. While staked, your Apez will accumulate SCRAP rewards as usual and you will still be able to claim these rewards at any time. Selling your Elder Ape will NOT transfer the staked Genesis Apez to the buyer however they will remain staked for the 60 day duration.
